The MXS 5.0 POLAR is an advanced microprocessor-controlled battery charger with specially designed AC and DC cables that can easily handle temperatures as low as -30°C (-22°F). It provides unmatched charging performance for lead-acid batteries ranging from 1.2 Ah to 110 Ah and also features battery diagnostics to determine if the battery can accept and hold a charge, a patented automatic desulfation program, an AGM option that maximizes the service life of most start/stop batteries, and a special Recond mode for reconditioning deeply discharged batteries. In maintenance mode, the MXS 5.0 POLAR CTEK uses a patented float/pulse system.
